Spring 2015 Semester Office Hours:
Presenting academic research is an important skill for undergraduates that may be applied to future academic and career experiences. The research poster session has been a staple of presenting research in the STEM fields, yet is still little known in the humanities and some social science disciplines. The MCUR is hosting workshops on creating a research poster for undergraduate students in the humanities and social sciences. This workshop should be helpful to students planning to participate in Undergraduate Research Day, on April 29, 2015. The workshops will cover principles of good poster design, organization of information, and strategies for printing and presenting your poster.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line "Poster Workshop" and the date/time you wish to attend. Workshops will take place in the MCUR office, 1201 Marie Mount Hall, across from the Learning Commons. More information about this workshop.
